Who knows me probably knows that I love seasons. Every season is different, you experience different things and emotions, but what I like the most is that a new season always brings new and fresh things, a change.

We dress differently, the colors change and we also change our routines.

I can't say I like one season more than another, every season brings me so much joy and I experience new emotions; winter is for coziness, skiing, coffee, movies, cooking at a friend's house for dinner and it makes you slow down.

Spring is about flowers, rain boots, getting excited about summer, some warm days, and the trees start filling up again and recovering from winter, and summer is about sunshine, fun, going from the pool to the beach, barbecues, warm nights and wearing fun clothes. Of course there's much more than that.

And then there is Fall. When I arrived to the Pacific Northwest three years ago, I fell in love with Autumn. Wow!. Fall is magic around here, not even the pictures can describe the feeling of being around those colors, feeling the cozy crisp mornings and even the light is magical.

I know that the beginning of Fall means summer is over, and the long relaxing days with no schedules become to an end. But I am always excited for Autumn.

It is a special time and very inspiring.

My dear friend Anna, came for the first time around that time to be an Aupair of a Catalan family in Seattle! Now it will make two years since she arrived and she is getting ready to leave :( I will miss her!

So happy you are here again Fall! I can't wait to enjoy you as if it was my first time.

Winter Wonderland with KIA

We decided to do a roatrip to Leavenworth the day after Thanksgiving, the decision turned into one of the most fun days I've had in a long time, I got to spend quality time Ryan and Caiti (Ryan's sister) and explore the mountain town just 2 hours from Seattle. There's just something about Leavenworth that I can't get enough of, from Thanksgiving until Christmas day, this bavarian wonderland is a magical place.

We recently moved to a new house, and one of the things that I've enjoyed the most is witnessing things grow around the yard with the passing of the seasons that the previous owners planted.

You should've seen me when I discovered two beautiful mushroomsin the yard, right in front of where I park the car.

Well, I posted the picture with much excitement on Facebook saying; Beauty from our yard. 🍄 I can't stop looking at it, I might go have lunch next to it!, and a friend commented right away; Don't get too close. The amanita mushroom can prove to be fatal.
