DUCHESS AND LION GRAPHICS - ''CAMP'' ROMPERS

GRAPHIC DESIGN - SCREENPRINTING

Graphics for screen printing on the black and oatmeal rompers of the October collection of Duchess and Lion. These were inspired by flags from summer camp days long ago. They are unisex and very versatile.

INSPIRATION:

The client sent me the two images below; a simple sketch with proportions and where the art was going to be placed, and an image found on Pinterest for the color and pattern inspiration.

DESIGN OPTIONS:

From the two images I got from the client I sketched a variety of options in Illustrator to send back for them to choose.

FINAL VERSION:

The graphics were going to be screen printed on white and black rompers so we decided to go for three red stripes in diagonal for the white rompers and we chose the color block graphic below to go on the black romper.

I prepared the files for print with a grunge effect that I achieved using masks on Illustrator on the color block.

MOCKUPS:

I created this mockups that I sent to the client so they could get a better idea of how it would look on the final romper:
